Throughout my career, those transitions humbled me. They stretched my thinking, exposed blind spots, and taught me firsthand what it means to carry responsibility at higher levels.

After more than 35 years of Air Force service — including roles as a pilot and senior leader — I understand what it feels like when expectations rise and the margin for missteps narrows.

That lived experience shapes how I coach.

I’ve led large teams, small teams, and teams navigating tension and uncertainty. This included experiencing the satisfaction of strong leadership alignment — and the weight of situations where clarity and trust had to be rebuilt.

Those experiences were not theoretical. They were formative.

People describe me as someone who sees connections others don’t immediately notice — identifying patterns, clarifying assumptions, and helping leaders step back far enough to see the full picture.  When complexity meets high-tension team dynamics, clarity becomes essential. 

I’ve learned as much from my missteps as my successes. Leadership has a way of revealing what still needs to grow. The moments that felt uncomfortable often prepared me best for greater responsibility later.

That perspective allows me to meet leaders with candor, steadiness, and respect — not judgment.

In addition to my Air Force career, I am a Project Management Professional and a certified coach, trainer, speaker, and behavioral assessor through the John Maxwell Leadership Team.

For more than a decade, I have mentored, coached, and trained leaders navigating career transitions and organizational complexity.
